Backend Data Collection (Device to Datacenter)
Backend infrastructure is comprised of Electronic Health Rrecords (EHRs) and are managed through enterprise systems to correlate records and other relevant patient information. These records are shared through Health Information Exchange Networks to allow healthcare professionals to access patient data.
As part of this complex ecosystem, field devices, which may be deployed locally or remotely, must be managed from a back-end integration perspective:
- manage device registration, configuration, and device status
- to receive messages which include patient information and sensory data
- manage and distribute software updates
